Becoming Ultra Pure

  1. MICRON SEDIMENT CARBON BLOCK PRE TREATMENT

During the first filtration stage, municpal water is propelled through a highly efficient 5-micron sediment filter where silt, sediment and particles (like rust, sand and clay) are removed.
  2. KDF & CATALYTIC CARBON SEDIMENT PRE TREATMENT

Carbon is a substance that has a long history of being used to absorb impurities and is perhaps the most powerful absorbent known to man. MEND Water® passes through a KDF and carbon granule filter that efficiently absorbs chlorine, volatile organic compounds and other harmful organic chemicals and pollutants.

  3. REVERSE OSMOSIS

Reverse osmosis is a liquid filtration method which removes many types of large atomic molecules from smaller molecules by forcing the liquid at high pressure through a membrane with pores (holes) just big enough to allow the small molecules to pass through. MEND utilizes a continuous self-cleaning ultra-filtration system that removes up to 95% of undesirable pollutants and total dissolved solids allowing only the clean water to pass.
  4. BICARBONATE REMINERALIZATION

After water goes through a reverse osmosis membrane, it passes through our proprietary magnesium cartridge. This adds an optimal level of alkalinizing minerals.
  5. OZONE GENERATOR

Ozone, or O3, is Mother Nature’s purifier and disinfectant. Using ozone generator technology, ozone is created in much the same way as the sun does it. Inside the ozone generator’s chamber is a high intensity ultraviolet (UV) light. Compressed air is forced into the generator’s chamber, which then converts some of the oxygen in the air into ozone.
  6. CARBON SEDIMENT POST FILTER

Carbon is a substance that has a long history of being used to absorb impurities and is perhaps the most powerful absorbent known to man. MEND Water® passes through a final carbon granule filter that efficiently absorbs any chlorine, volatile organic compounds, other harmful organic chemicals and pollutants that where not removed in Stage 2.
  7. PRESSURIZED STORAGE TANK

In the last stages of MEND’s purification system, the cleaned water goes into pressurized storage tanks. In nature, water never flows in a straight line. When man forces it to, it loses some of its natural healing energy and power. In this stage, water flows through a four-spiral vortex pattern that mimics the natural flow of water in nature.
  8. TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS (TDS) TESTING
